The esee izula may be the identical to the IZULA except the handle is 1/2″ longer & it comes with canvas Micarta handle scales. This excellent blade will easily fit in most anywhere and is extremely useful. Whether you make it or like a neck blade, you won’t fail having its performance. Where did the label IZULA originate from? We all know it as the Topic Ant. The Topic Ant is well known to become a real extreme survivor…, hard, lighting on its toes, along with separate the IZULA knife is built the way. This knife concealed carry knife or is made to be the great light survival system. Comes with a highquality, wear-resistant textured powder coating finish, each knife etched with title, brand and serial number, thumb grippers about the spine and pommel ditch to accommodate carabiner. Includes: black Izula II with black molded sheath & Canvas Micarta handles.
I got this knife with the ESEE 6 AF survival knife. I subscribe to the three-knife process for emergency and brushcraft. I only could actually depend on a fixed blade with a full-tang. I’m overthetop fascinated with both my knives. I obtained the Izula II w/system, which includes para wire, belt clip, whistle, survival methods card, etc… The metal is solid but versatile, it supports it and takes a great sharpening. The layer is very robust and defensive – bonus from carving to skinning, when doing aspect pieces in wet / smooth work it adds a diploma of traction. The canvas micarta retains its grasp even though wet and handle fits perfectly. I killed about the back again to do some splitting, it was eaten by the blade up without problems. The knife is retained inside the sheath by friction points near the handle. So far – retention is excellent, although eventually I see these wearing down and building maintenance looser. I’d even OK growing this blade if needed, for instance on molle work gear inverted. Don’t allow the size fool you – this is a wonderful detail knife – as well as a backup concealed carry edge (where appropriate). Blade length approx. 2.75 inches. Large-hole on sheath and handle for various attachment uses. MANUFACTURED IN USA!
I was a little stunned at how this blade that is small is. However, it’s as defined, and for the size breathtaking. The Izula-two is sold with desert tan micarta grips which I needed, as I feel that a skeleton handle is too hard for me, given my bigger-size hands. The knife did come razor sharp out of the deal. Involving the lower part of the serrated portion on the top of the blade, and the heavy curve, I’m not also worried about my arms moving onto the leading edge in normal use. It feels really comfortable in my own hand with a natural-experience.
The sheath didn’t add a belt clip – the clip is simply provided standard together with the survival kit that is recommended. But the video comes independently, and I anticipate putting it. The blade fits very tight in the sheath, and that I am not concerned if I’m carrying it as a neck carry about it slipping out. Basically, only the alternative; I’d stress about the neck cord grips being sturdy enough never to slip should I need to pull the knife out on the go. I also just like the textured finish to the knife. I have many coated blades, nevertheless the texture allows a more substantial sense to it to this blade. Can’t say the coating can hold up, must play with it.
